Kathie Greear

Kathie Greear - Former Therapist at Dixie Regional Medical Center

Between 2009 and 2018, Kathie Greear worked as a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) therapist at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah. Kathie Greear cared for and delivered high-risk premature babies at the medical center. She also handled invasive diagnostic testing at the pulmonary function tests (PFTs) lab. She also tested and educated pulmonary patients and worked with pulmonologists during bronchoscopy and bronchial thermoplastic.

Until 2006, Kathie Greear was a staff cardiopulmonary technologist at the Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. She worked as a staff and lead therapist and was responsible for creating and running the pulmonary rehab program. At the hospital, she also worked with physicians in creating patient care plans.

As a cardiopulmonary technologist, she recruited patients for the pulmonary rehab program and trained them for six to 12 weeks. She also initiated an asthma education program, Open Airways. Kathie Greear administered respiratory medications and obtained arterial blood samples.
